FLASHBACK TO 20 YEARS AGO

Sorry, there will be no pictures with puffy, back-combed hair, or mullets, or leg warmers.  Just some pictures of some good friends from university - and NO KIDS!

We had so much fun together at Sylvan lake, and a great time hiking Lake O'Hara last summer, that we decided that it needs to be an annual tradition to go hiking together (wow, that was wordy).

With access to a beautiful ranch between Cardston and Waterton (thanks Mom and Dad), we headed off for a two day trip to hang out around Waterton.  On the Monday Renee, Carrie and I drove down to the ranch.  While we were waiting for Terri to meet us we went in to Waterton to see the sights.  It's so beautiful there, I wish I could spend more time there.....especially if the wind would quit blowing.

I love the mountain out the sun roof....

First we stopped for lunch at the bottom of the hill on the north side of the Prince of Wales hotel, Linnett Lake I think.  With a real Waterton welcome:

Oh, maybe that's because we saw this on the way into the park...

We went to all the classic places and did all the touristy things... and had a great time!

I love how the deer are so tame and wander around the town
