So I'm working on it! We're not 'there' yet, but the blog is starting to take shape. Lisa is a whiz at this stuff, and I spent some time with her the last couple of days - mostly shopping in Great Falls - and she's been giving me a few pointers on how to get a working blog going. So, baby steps it is. The hardest part of all of this is finding something in my life interesting enough to blog about.
So I guess my tidbit for the day would be to let everyone know that if you plan on crossing the Canada/ U.S. border the line-ups to get back into Canada at the end of a long weekend are brutal....well, at least they are at the Coutts/Sweetgrass crossing. If you're clever though, you can skip the 3 hour or longer wait by crossing at the DelBonita border by Magrath. They have No lines there!!! Oh wait, maybe that's because they closed 45 minutes ago!! ARGH! A good idea too late. If we waited 10 days they would be on 'summer hours' (9-9pm I think the sign said, but check for yourself first....winter hours are 9-6pm). So the next best choice??? How about the partial gravel road through the Blackfeet Indian reservation so go around to the Cardston border crossing ...but hurry, and pray for no lines, cuz they close at 11pm, even if there are still people in line. Luckily our adventure was somewhat 'UN'adventurous and we arrived at that crossing around 8pm, with NO line, yay!! A very nice border guard, and a bit of paper work, and we were on our way.
I think we still saved an hour or more on the trip, but definately not the most direct. Check your times, before you leave.

Maybe....
Maybe someday i'll actually post a real blog entry, but for now, i just wanted to see if i could even create a blog in the first place. Life is crazy busy for us, and i just don't know how i feel about taking on another project. Busy, but wonderful...in our own crazy way!
